The Body Electric ... Seeing the Unseen

Larry Gust is an electrical engineer and is certified as a Building Biologist  by the International Institute for Bau-Biologie and Ecology (IBE). Larry has been teaching classes about the indoor environment for IBE since 1996.and has performed hundreds of home and office evaluations for his clients.

Larry helps his clients see the unseen electrical and magnetic fields (collectively referred to as EMF) that emanate from standard home wiring and from wireless communication devices. In this lecture he will explain how each of the different types of fields—though invisible—can affect our bodies and minds in dramatic and destructive ways.

In this presentation, Larry will introduce and explain:

ü       The nature of AC magnetic fields, AC electric fields, and cell phone radiation

ü       The negative health effects caused by long-term exposure to such electrical and magnetic fields

ü       The problems associated with the growing adoption of wireless technology for cell phones, cordless phones, PDAs, and the networking of computers

ü       How to measure EMF levels and pinpoint their sources

ü       Countermeasures and remediation to eliminate or neutralize the damaging potential of EMF in the areas where you spend the most time each day
