The Physics of Water

by Morgan Jones

Water. Our bodies are literally made of the stuff. But how often do we stop to think about the quality of the water we consume and its effect on the thousands of chemical reactions that take place in our bodies as a normal part of digestion, nutrient transport, metabolism, and waste removal? This session will explore the many critical roles water plays in human physiology and how the makeup of the water we take in through drinking, cooking, and showering affects our health.

This session will explore the myth of “8 glasses of water a day” and how the quantity of water we consume affects our organs and overall mineral balance.

Morgan will detail the many real threats to the integrity of our public water supply that result from industrialization and who is responsible for determining whether the water in our community is safe. Most important of all, he will explore how you can choose the most vital water possible to help facilitate the prevention or reversal of disease, by comparing and contrasting the various products that claim to provide clean and healthy water.
